CBS is working on ensuring that everyone can safely travel the City by bike. Over the past years, we have focused on electing supportive City Councilors, who have passed the CSO and overseen its execution to great success. As Cambridge has improved the safety of its streets with high quality separated bike lanes, we have seen more families and youth biking. This is an amazing development in Cambridge and CBS would like to continue to support this trend. 

As the only other elected body in Cambridge, the School Committee directly affects the experience of the city and daily life of students and their families.CBS will continue to focus on the Council, which has the power to oversee bike lane installations, but there are numerous other ways that we can make biking safer and more accessible to our students and their families.
